Prompt Demon™ (“we,” “our,” or “us”), operated by 1715846 Alberta Ltd. (Okotoks, Alberta, Canada), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and website.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information required to operate the service:

Account Information: Email address and User ID via Google Firebase Authentication. Only collected if you choose to sign in. The app is fully usable without an account.
User Content: Text prompts you create and choose to save. Saved prompts are stored locally on your device by default; cloud sync is opt-in via Firebase for Premium users.
Usage Data: Anonymous interaction data (taps, screen visits, crashes) collected via Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics for bug fixes and performance improvements.
Advertising Identifiers: Google AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to serve relevant ads for free-tier users. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.
Purchase Information: If you upgrade to Premium, Google Play handles all payment processing. We never see or store your credit card details.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate your account and sync your saved prompts across devices (Premium feature)
To improve app stability, fix bugs, and develop new features
To process Premium purchases via Google Play Billing
To serve relevant advertisements through Google AdMob (free tier only)
To respond to your support requests and feedback

4. Data Storage & Security

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform for authentication, data storage, and hosting. All data is transmitted using industry-standard encryption (TLS). Firebase stores data in compliance with Google's privacy practices.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your personal information with anyone except as required to operate the service (e.g., Firebase for authentication) or as required by law.

5. Third-Party Services

Prompt Demon integrates with the following third-party services:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics)
Google AdMob (advertising for free-tier users)
Google Play Billing (Premium purchases)
Google ML Kit (on-device translation — no data leaves your device)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their use of data. We encourage you to review them.

6. Children's Privacy

Prompt Demon is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction or deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for data processing (by signing out and uninstalling)
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority

8. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymous usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
